Confetti of forget me nots
Arranged upon my tabletop,
Each a jotted affirmation
On paper, petals of rouge, yellows, and blues
Piled in twine, one side huge, the next
Side sparse, but a few.

Of all your forget me nots, your
Declarations to me, it was
That lonely pile of four or three
Which held ones that felt written to
me.
